Lord, give this first responder courage

Courage to face and conquer His/Her own fears

Courage to go where others will not.

Give Him/Her strength

Strength of body to protect others

Strength of spirit to help others

Give Him/Her dedication

Dedication to the job, to do it well

Dedication to the community, to keep it safe.

Give Him/Her Lord, concern

For those who trust Him/Her

And compassion for those in need.
